Requests for refills should be left on your primary physician's nurse line.  Be sure to include the child's full name, date of birth, a phone number where you can be reached in case of a question, the name and dosage of the medication and your pharmacy's name and number.  You may be asked to schedule a follow up visit before a medication is refilled if deemed necessary by the physician.  Refill requests should be made 5 days before the prescription is due to run out.  Prescriptions for controlled substances such as ADHD medications, must be picked up at the office.  Other prescriptions will be sent by e-mail to your pharmacy, normally by the end of the day.
